Terms of Service
Bernn is operated by Stalingrad Dollosa ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Bernn app, you agree to these terms.
The service
Bernn connects to cloud/AI billing providers you authorize (currently AWS, Anthropic, and optionally OpenAI) using read-only credentials you supply, and shows you a consolidated view of your spend, with optional budget and anomaly alerts. Bernn is a visibility tool: it reports what you're spending. It does not manage, optimize, or reduce your spend, and it cannot take any action on your connected accounts beyond reading billing data.
Accuracy of data
Bernn displays figures reported by third-party provider APIs (AWS Cost Explorer, Anthropic's and OpenAI's usage/cost APIs). These providers' own data can lag by up to roughly 24 hours and are refreshed by Bernn on an hourly best-effort basis — figures shown in the app are not real-time and are provided for informational purposes only. Always treat your provider's own billing dashboard and invoice as the authoritative source for what you owe. We are not responsible for billing decisions made solely on the basis of figures shown in Bernn.
Your responsibilities
- You're responsible for the credentials you connect, and for using the least-privilege access we ask for (a read-only cross-account role for AWS; an admin key scoped only as your provider requires).
- You must not use Bernn for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
- You're responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure.
Subscriptions
Bernn offers optional paid tiers (currently monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase) sold through Apple's In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Prices, billing periods, and auto-renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase in the app and are controlled by Apple/Google's standard subscription terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through your Apple ID or Google account settings — Bernn cannot cancel or refund a purchase directly; that's handled by Apple/Google per their policies.
Account termination
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated or the service is being abused.
No warranty
Bernn is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that provider data will always be accurate or timely.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stalingrad Dollosa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Bernn, including unexpected provider charges, billing surprises, or decisions made based on data shown in the app.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where required, notified in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
